Headquartered in Newell , WV, Marsh
Instruments is an old line U.S. manufacturer with a great and storied history and an
excellent reputation in the field of industrial instrumentation. In fact, the H. J.
Kirby Corp. was born when Harry J. Kirby left Marsh in 1969 after 30 years to start his
own company as their first Master Distributor.
Through the mergers and acquisition frenzy
of the 1970's and 80's Marsh was moved from it's late 1800's birthplace in Skokie,
IL as Jas. P. Marsh Company to the Nebraska heartland and finally to it's present home in
the West Virginia panhandle. With manufacturing facilities in Newell, West Virginia,
and Hastings, Nebraska, Marsh markets a wide variety of pressure gauges, thermometers,
diaphragm seals, pressure transducers and hydraulic needle valves throughout the Americas.
The Bellofram part of their business, a result of more recent mergers and not part
of the H. J. Kirby Corp. product line, manufacturers pressure regulators, transducers, and
related pneumatic equipment.
Pressure gauges in brass, steel, stainless steel and
Monel®, thermometers, electronic pressure transmitters, chemical seals, and high pressure
needle valves make up their catalog. Although we do not show all the products
available here, as you will see below, the pressure gauges and needle valves alone
encompass an extremely wide spectrum of sizes, accuracy's, and applications. Watch
for more products in the future.
